All sizes are available in single zone or dual-zone zone configurations. One of the optional features of Sterling Sterlco hot oil units is the auxiliary cooling circuits also known as water cooling circuits. These are secondary Tube-in-Shell water cooled heat exchangers that use shop process water to cool the process.

Sterling's newest Oil Heater Models are the upright, compact, and midsize series (2016U Series, 2016C Series and 2016M series oil heaters). Other models include the 6010 Series, 6017 series, 9016 series, and 9026 Series. The 2016W and 2017 series are for high-temperature jobs that can operate at the maximum temperature of 650 degrees Fahrenheit (343.33 degree Celsius). Sterlco's pump sizes options can range from 1 HP to 3 HP and can produce a flow rate of 6 GPM to 50 GPM. For the higher flow requirements, available pump horsepower options include 5 HP, 10 HP, or 15 HP. These pumps will allow the process flow to produce a flow rate of 90, 150 or 200 gallons (ca. 757 liters) per minute.
